Who we are

The Founders

Robert and Rebecca Fisher launched Operation Christmas Hope (OCH) in 2016 with the simple idea of giving Christmas to children and their families in our local community who might not have a Christmas. OCH is community and faith-based organization that is modeled after a similar non-profit in Sacramento, CA, called Christmas Promise. Christmas Promise provided a lifetime of memorable Christmases to thousands of children during the 30 years they were in existence.  We hope to do the same with OCH.  Since the non-profit was started, we have been able to give hundreds deserving families an unforgettable Christmas and our goal is to serve even more families in 2021.

Philippians 2:3-4
" . . .in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others."

OUr impact

Operation Christmas Hope partners with The Children and Family Network Centers, an organization that provides free preschool to low-income children, to serve local Alexandria families in need. We also partner with No Greater Sacrifice, an organization dedicated to the children of our nation’s fallen and wounded Service members delivering scholarships and resources to improve their quality of life. In the six years our organization has been operating, we have helped hundreds of families providing every family member in the household with needed winter clothes and coats, shoes, kitchen appliances, blankets, bedding for the adults as well as toys, bikes, blankets, bedding, winter coats and clothes and shoes for the children.
